Leadership Training Program

The ADVANCE at WSU Leadership Program is an initiative for supporting leadership opportunities for eligible faculty: tenured/tenure-track women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine (STEMM) and diverse faculty, with diversity defined in terms of the under-represented minority status, in any discipline at WSU. The aim of this program is to foster career development of eligible faculty by supporting leadership opportunities and trainings. For tenured faculty, this initiative is intended to help grantees through the promotion process, encouraging participants to seek administrative responsibilities and enhancing leadership succession planning. Activities completed under this program, to be identified by the applicant, should thus contribute to advancement in administration leadership and/or leadership in one’s discipline.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Be on the lookout for an updated RFP by the end of September, 2018.
